About The Position

Job Title : Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

• Experience with a patient ratio of 1 : 6
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Open to accommodating block schedules with manager approval

Description :

This position involves working 3x12 hour night shifts with holiday rotation.

The nurse will provide care for patients with multiple GI diagnoses.

Complex nursing care requirements are essential, including bariatric and autologous islet cell program patients.

The unit consists of primarily adult patients who require specialized nursing care.

The nursing model enhances teamwork within the unit.

Qualifications include experience with isolation precautions, medical / surgical procedures, and oxygen administration.

The unit sees a diverse set of patient diagnoses and requires interdisciplinary support.

Travelers should be prepared to respond to emergency needs as part of their role.

Weekends and holiday shifts are part of the schedule, with a requirement of 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks.

The facility prioritizes nurses with an active state license in hand.
