Responsibilities

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities :

• Provides leadership and direction to the Maintenance Team and inspire high performance through effective goal setting and performance measurement.
• Prioritizes and oversees day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Department.
• Ensures maintenance employees are following safe work practices and procedures consistently and completely. Follow GMP in compliance with all Food Safety requirements.
• Responsible for department budgeting.
• Coordinate plant projects design and development overhauls machine relocation etc.
• Liaison for State or Federal inspections Local Fire Department & Insurance inspections.
• Ability to prioritize workload and balance administrative duties with time spent on the floor.
• Strong written interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Partner with plant Safety Quality Production Shipping & Receiving and Administrative Departments.
