Position : Full-Time, Onsite

Dates : ASAP June 2026

Hours : Full-time

Overview :

We are seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support a self-contained classroom serving students in Grades 13. The program includes approximately 6 students and has strong paraeducator support. This role requires a teacher who is confident, collaborative, and skilled in supporting students with varying academic and behavioral needs.

Responsibilities :

Lead instruction in a self-contained elementary special education classroom

Implement IEPs and document student progress

Provide individualized academic and behavioral support

Collaborate closely with paraeducators and school staff

Maintain a structured, safe, and supportive learning environment

Modify curriculum and instructional materials as needed

Qualifications :

Active Massachusetts Special Education teaching license

Experience in self-contained or specialized programs preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

Comfort working with diverse learning and behavioral needs
