Community Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its Adult Medicine department. The RN provides professional nursing care to our adult patient population in accordance with health center established standards and practices.
The successful candidate will :
- Ensure proper internal controls and documentation for all AP processes
- Support the accurate and timely tracking of expenses by entering invoices into the accounting software, allocating expenses to the appropriate funding sources and departments, and recording expenses in the proper periods
- Code and import credit card reconciliations into the accounting software
- Performs bi-weekly check run, including completing and obtaining approval for the payment request, issuing checks or ACH files for vendor payment, obtaining appropriate signatures
- Maintain the vendor database, updating vendor file as necessary to reflect changes in vendor agreements, terms, contact information, payment methods, and other areas
- Reconcile vendor statements by researching and correcting discrepancies; respond timely to vendor inquiries
- Coordinate and accurately maintain prepaid schedules, amortization of prepaid expenses, and monthly accruals
- Prepare annual 1099s
Accounting
Perform audits of financial transactions and documentsAssist in the month end reconciliations of balance sheet and expense accounts and month end closing assignmentsPrepare and import month-end payroll journal entries and accruals and payroll checks into the accounting systemMaintain Fixed Asset Module in the accounting software and records depreciationRecords adjusting and reclassifying journal entries, as necessaryPerform audits of financial transactions and documentsAssist with governmental and independent auditors, coordinating, as necessary, the flow of information between and among internal stakeholders, and assisting with timely responses to requests for informationParticipate in quality and process improvement efforts in the department and the organization as requested or as directedServe as backup to the Senior Staff AccountantSome benefit programs available to eligible employees include :
