Responsibilities
- Understands automotive / commercial vehicle companies (OEM and Tier 1-Supplier), end customers as well as the government / regulations
- Identifies project opportunities within the automotive / commercial vehicle ecosystem
- Develops business at new automotive / commercial vehicle clients using account development methods
- Leads project acquisitions by developing, presenting, negotiating and closing of proposals
- Serves as primary point of contact for client executives
- Leads work streams during client engagements
- Act as a long-term companion for decision makers in a VUCAD-World
- Manages client and Porsche Consulting project team members
- Reviews and approves project delivery documents prior to presentations
- Leads the collection, analysis and interpretation of client and industry information
- Provides ongoing feedback and other development support to Porsche Consulting team members
- Enhances and trains Porsche Consulting concepts, methods and tools for Automotive / Commercial Vehicles
- Provides content for press articles and develops event presentations and other marketing materials for the Automotive practice
- Speaks / Represents Porsche Consulting at relevant conferences
Qualifications
Graduate Degree with focus on Business, Industrial / Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management and / or related discipline from renowned institutions of higher educationHands‑on experience in Strategy and Operations Management, preferably in the automotive / commercial vehicle sectorHigh level of business acumen and consultative expertiseMinimum 7 years of total professional experience in both consultancies and automotive corporationsMinimum 3 years of professional experience in business developmentDemonstrated ability to develop and grow new client business selling management consulting servicesImpact orientation with focus on comprehensive implementationSecond language fluency in German, Spanish, or French a plusStrong desire to mentor and assist in the professional development of colleaguesJob Details
