Now, we’re looking for a skilled Drain Technician to join our growing team.

What You’ll Do

As a Drain Technician at Bumble Bee Plumbing, you’ll be the go-to expert for solving drainage issues for residential and light commercial customers. Your daily responsibilities will include :

Diagnose and Resolve Drain Issues : Use your expertise to identify problems and provide effective solutions, including cleaning, clearing, and repairing drains.

Operate Equipment : Use advanced tools such as drain snakes, hydro-jetters, and sewer cameras to tackle even the toughest clogs.

Customer Service Excellence : Clearly communicate findings, provide options for repair or replacement, and explain the benefits of your recommended solutions.

Sell Services : Confidently present solutions to customers, offering upsells and additional services as needed.

Preventative Maintenance : Educate customers about maintaining their drain systems to prevent future issues.

Maintain Equipment : Ensure all tools, vehicles, and equipment are clean, functional, and properly stored.

What We’re Looking For

We want a motivated team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Our ideal Drain Technician has :

Experience :

Minimum of 2 years of drain cleaning or plumbing experience.

Experience with sewer camera inspections and hydro-jetting is a big plus.

Skills :

Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot complex drainage issues.

Sales skills to confidently present service options and close sales.

Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Physical Demands :

Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Other Requirements :

Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.

Clear background check and drug screen.

Service Titan experience is a plus but not required.
