Department : Pathology – GMC

Description :

A hospital is seeking an experienced Travel Histotechnologist for a 12-week assignment in the Pathology Department. The technologist will process tissue specimens, prepare slides, and perform staining procedures to support diagnostic pathology.

Requirements :

Minimum of 2 years pathology laboratory experience

Certifications : ASCP HT / HTL required

Attention to detail, strong physical dexterity, and effective written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities :

Process tissue specimens for pathology examination

Embed, section, stain, and mount slides according to laboratory protocols

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all laboratory work

Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the laboratory

Collaborate with pathologists and lab staff to ensure timely specimen processing

Winter Holiday Requirements :

Travelers must work one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve).
