About the role :

Garner is seeking a highly capable and experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our Business Technology team as a key member of our growing organization. This is an opportunity to directly shape the future of Garners IT infrastructure by owning and improving the systems processes and controls that enable us to scale securely and efficiently.

In this role youll manage core enterprise platforms and networks ensure consistent and compliant service delivery and drive initiatives that strengthen our security and operational foundation. Youll play a critical role in implementing frameworks such as Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) maintaining HITRUST and SOC 2 readiness and optimizing system performance across Garners environment.

Where you will work :

This role will be based in our New York City office. You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday.

What you will do :

• Administer and maintain core IT systems (Okta Google Workspace Atlassian Zoom Slack Zoom Rooms Unifi Nnetwork FreshService)
• Manage full MDM lifecycle for macOS / iOS through Jamf Pro ensuring secure device configuration and compliance
• Maintain and improve network infrastructure (Ubiquiti UniFi) for performance reliability and security
• Support and optimize conference room and A / V systems (Zoom Rooms)
• Handle escalated L2 / L3 tickets uphold SLAs and drive service quality improvements
• Manage user lifecycle operations provisioning deprovisioning RBAC and access reviews
• Support compliance initiatives (HITRUST SOC 2 HIPAA) through documentation access reviews and audit evidence
• Create and maintain SOPs and internal knowledge base content
• Coordinate with vendors and MSPs on service delivery and transition projects
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities

Compensation Transparency :

The target salary range for this position is $140000 - $160000.
