As a Travel Respiratory Therapist, I provide respiratory care services to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, at Health Creighton University Medical Center. My responsibilities include performing assessments, managing equipment, and delivering treatments, while also ensuring compliance with ACLS and BLS guidelines. I work rotating shifts and float to various departments, collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Respiratory Therapist position at Health Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Covers all areas / floors, including inpatient care for neonates to geriatrics.

Job Requirements

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Verification

Must have skills : EKGs, bedside bronchs, and bedside spirometry.

Schedule Information

7-7 shifts with team scheduling.

Weekend Requirements : Days every third, Nights every other.

Holiday Requirements : Rotate with permanent staff.

Floating Requirements : To different areas throughout the hospital in the RT capacity.

Unit Specific Information

Department : Respiratory Therapy

Lead Therapist on each shift.

Additional Details

ACLS and BLS required; NRP & PALS preferred.

3-12 hour shifts for unit / department specific orientation.

Radius Rule : 50 miles; candidate may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit.
