Facility in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a psychiatrist for a PRN (as needed) opportunity to help with coverage. Duties include : providing care and services for patients within assigned program(s). Diagnosing and treating the mental, emotional, and behavioral issues of patients experiencing eating, mood and anxiety disorders. Actively participates on interdisciplinary treatment team to address the bio-psycho-social needs of our patients. Works within a collaborative environment including physicians, psychologists, counselors, social workers and other clinical staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Directs and supervises medical aspects of health service delivery.

Elicits and records information about patient's medical history and progress.

Attends patients admitted for treatment

Administers or prescribes treatments and medications.
