Job description

A global leader in engineered products is seeking a Materials Planner to join its team in Duncan, SC . In this role, you will report directly to the Value Stream Planner and ensure that materials are available to meet production schedules. The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while supporting production success.

Hours : Monday - Friday, 7am - 3 : 30pm

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and manage component and inventory availability for assembly production.
  • Identify and resolve Bill of Materials (BOM) and shortages for new and ongoing orders.
  • Schedule purchasing activities and issue purchase orders (POs).
  • Work with suppliers to confirm and expedite delivery schedules.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy in the MRP system (Dynamics 365 preferred).
  • Monitor SKU for shortages.
  • Manage PO (purchase orders).

Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of experience in a Buyer, Planner, or related supply chain role.
  • Experience with MRP / ERP systems (Dynamics 365 a plus).
  • Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOMs), Purchase Orders, shortage reports, and production planning.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; Excel proficiency a plus.
  • Vendor management experience.
