Long Term Substitute Special Education Teacher - Washington Street 3-5 Elementary School Location : Washington Street 3-5 Elementary SchoolJanuary 22 2026 through last day of 2025-2026 school yearSalary : $200.00 per day General Description : The Franklin Public Schools a Prek-12 district is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Term Substitute Special Education Teacher to serve as a special educator at the Washington Street 3-5 Elementary School. The teacher will work in a model of service delivery offering academic support in the general education classrooms combined with specialized instruction for small groups and individuals on a pull out basis. Students requiring assistance and support have mild to moderate disabilities. Key Duties and Responsibilities :
Collect and analyze student data against IEP goals
Work collaboratively with special education team to improve supports services and programming for students with disabilities
Qualifications :
Wilson / OG training / certification preferred
Excellent writing and communication skills required
Experience in public school setting
Able to take initiative and work independently
Must successfully pass Criminal Offender (CORI) background check and national fingerprinting screening (CHRI).
