Job Title : Technologist Profession : Technologist Specialty : Cath Lab Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Days Hours per Shift : 10 hours Experience : Required License : Required Certifications : BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), ARRT Must-Have : Cath Lab Experience Description : This position is responsible for setting up all radiographic equipment prior to performing angiographic procedures. The role involves processing and performing quality control checks on cine radiographic images. Assists in preparing patients for procedures and aids other members of the cath lab staff and physicians as needed. The aim is to ensure timely and efficient use of the cardiac cath lab and special procedures. Responsibilities include : Assisting in prepping patients, sterile tray setup, post-cath care, and room cleanup. Manipulating equipment and setting appropriate techniques on radiographic generators to achieve optimal image quality. Operating a variety of electronic equipment including cardiac output computers, oxygen saturation equipment, hemodynamic equipment, and pacemakers. Performing oxygen saturation studies and cardiac output measurements.
