Overview of A6 West Neurology :

As part of our vibrant A6 West Neurology team, you will work in a 36-bed med-surg neuro tele unit that specializes in providing outstanding care to patients with various neurological conditions. Our emphasis is on stroke care while also managing conditions like myasthenia gravis, encephalopathies, dementia, and brain and spinal tumors. A highlight of our unit is the exclusive Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), where patients are monitored 24 / 7 for seizure activity. In the EMU, we perform various tests, including tilt table testing, strobe light testing, sleep deprivation, and medication adjustments to accurately diagnose epilepsy and personalize treatment plans, significantly impacting our patients' lives.
