- About the Role :
- We are seeking a full-time IT Specialist to support our Gold River and Concord offices. This is a highly technical, hands-on role responsible for managing OMNI’s entire IT environment, including servers, networking, virtualization, cloud services, end-user support, security, and ongoing infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate brings strong systems administration experience, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and the confidence to work independently while supporting a fast-paced, service-focused team.
- Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5+ years of systems administration experience in a small-to-mid-size business environment
- Strong background with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
- Experience with Office 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Hands-on experience with Hyper-V, Proxmox, or VMware
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, VPNs, and firewall configuration
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- High level of attention to detail, organization, and independent problem-solving
- Ability to balance daily support needs with long-term project management
- Duties include, but are not limited to :
- Providing onsite and remote support for 40+ users and 80+ devices across two offices
- Administering Windows Server 2022 environments, Active Directory, SQL Server, and virtualization platforms
- Managing Office 365 security, licensing, compliance, and user provisioning
- Maintaining site-to-site VPN connectivity and configuring pfSense firewalls, routing, NAT, and IDS / IPS
- Supporting VoIP systems, including extensions, call routing, voicemail, and system integrations
- Deploying and maintaining HOA management software platforms and related tools
- Operating the RMM system for proactive monitoring, patching, and remote management
- Leading IT projects such as hardware upgrades, software rollouts, and infrastructure redesigns
- Coordinating with leadership on IT planning, budgeting, and long-term strategy
- Managing vendor relationships, contracts, warranties, and IT assets
- Maintaining accurate documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and change-management records
- Traveling between the Gold River and Concord offices 2–3 times per week for on-site support and project execution
- Compensation & Benefits :
We offer a competitive salary range of
- $80,000–$90,000
