Key Responsibilities

Manage insurance and patient billing to ensure timely payments

Contact insurance carriers and patients for claims research and follow-up

Document account activities and maintain workflow on aging accounts

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare claims processing or billing

Hands-on experience with insurance appeals and understanding of remittance advices

Familiarity with ICD-10, HCPCS, and medical terminology

Proficiency with billing software and payer portals
