Client Summary - Headquarters Air Mobility Command Surgeon General (AMC / SG) at Scott Air Force Base oversees global mobility and en route medical care for the U.S. Air Force, supporting secure medical IT systems and electronic health records. The Medical IT Network & Desktop Support Services project provides full-spectrum IT support, including program governance, cybersecurity, asset management, system engineering, and service desk operations. Additional responsibilities cover telecommunications, mobile device management, modernization initiatives, and patient safety analytics, with all positions contingent upon award and requiring U.S. citizenship and current DoD clearance eligibility.

Summary Support and maintain LAN / WAN infrastructure for medical IT; configure hardware; manage servers; monitor performance; ensure security and backups.

Responsibilities

Implement network changes; perform diagnostics and tuning

Maintain backups; coordinate patching and endpoint hardening

Document configurations; update diagrams / runbooks

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years in network or systems support

Experience with Windows Server, virtualization, routing / switching, and PKI
