NP (Nurse Practitioner)PA (Physician's Assistant) Urgent Care

Description

In this role you will be responsible for assessing diagnosing and treating patients with urgent medical conditions. Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals you will ensure that patients receive timely and effective care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients in an urgent care setting
• Diagnose and treat a variety of acute medical conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
• Develop and implement patient care plans
• Provide patient education and counseling on health management
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
• Document patient interactions and care provided accurately
• Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and policies

Requirements

Schedule : 3x 12-hour shifts per week occasional weekend coverage

No call requirement

Patient Census : 35-40 per day

Patient Population : All ages

Required Procedures : Foreign body removal suturing I&Ds and casting / DME fitting

EMR : Epic

Must be board-certified
