Patient Scheduling Representative - OBGYN (Full Time)

The Patient Service Representative plays an important role in supporting patient care by coordinating scheduling and communication between patients, families, and clinical staff. This position requires excellent organization, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to ensure a positive patient experience and efficient department operations.

Job Description :

Schedules appointment times using computerized scheduling programs.

Communicates with medical and clinical staff to ensure the availability of facilities and staff, and intakes pre-authorizations at the time of scheduling.

Communicates with patients and / or their families, as permissible, to provide necessary pre-procedure instructions and to confirm appointments.

Intakes demographics, insurance information, and pre-authorizations as necessary for all scheduled encounters.
