Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Ortho

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, OCN certification is strongly encouraged

Description :

This position involves caring for patients on a post-surgical floor specializing in orthopedic, oncology, and neurology cases.

The patient population ranges from young adults to late adults.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1 : 6.

Staffing includes Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Patient Care Technicians, and Nurse Interns.

Each RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on their team.

Travelers may be required to float to different units based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity.

Advance notice will be provided before any scheduled float assignment is required.

Applicants must have basic life support certification, and oncology certification is recommended.
