Job Summary

Fill every occasion with great food and service! We are currently seeking a Catering Director. The Catering Director will be responsible for developing and driving catering solutions to meet our customers' needs, while working closely with the Executive Chef on menu development. Events span a diverse spectrum, from coffee services to exclusive VIP dining occasions, hosted both on- and off-campus. Join Chartwells as the Catering Director for a flagship university account servicing the Illinois Institute of Technology near the downtown community in Chicago. This role will lead our Catering Operations with a keen eye for event planning and catering operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily Catering Operations
• Manage multiple events daily with attention to detail and strong organizational skill
• Supervise and develop staff
• Provide outstanding and hands-on customer service
• Conduct Financial Management and Analysis including the analysis of food cost and labor
• Direct Special Events, Marketing and Sales of events, and lead on-site field support for events
