About The Position

Conduct timely, accurate, and compliant  medical necessity reviews  for inpatient services.

Provide clear  verbal and written determinations  to providers.

Interpret clinical information to ensure requested services meet guidelines and standards.

Participate in  provider-to-provider discussions  to obtain additional clinical details.

Meet required  productivity, quality, and compliance metrics .

Work efficiently with minimal supervision after structured training.

Maintain consistency in clinical decision-making and documentation.

Adapt to evolving workflows, tools, and utilization management practices.

Support a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and Humana’s organizational values.

Job Requirements

Experience in  managed care  (Medicare Advantage, Managed Medicaid, Commercial).

Prior work in  utilization management  or medical review organizations.

Familiarity with  MCG®, InterQual , or similar national guideline tools
