Shift : 7a-7p Days, 4 x 12-hour shifts (07 : 00-19 : 00)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (with potential cancellation of up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract)

Weekly Stipend : $1,428.00

Guaranteed Hours : 48 hours per week

Weekly Taxable Pay : $2,671.03

Job Description :

As an integral member of the patient care team at St Joseph Hospital, the RN - Med Surg / Tele is responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will assess patients upon admission, utilizing interview techniques to gather medical history, current health status, vital signs, lab results, X-rays, and other diagnostic tests. You will actively participate in planning and executing individualized care plans under the supervision of physicians, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. This role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Certifications and Licenses :

Valid State of New Hampshire RN license or Compact License (Required)

BLS Certification (Required)

ACLS Certification (Required)

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Required)

Experience : Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience preferred, with strong previous Med Surg / Tele experience essential

Skills :

Excellent mathematical and analytical skills

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to efficiently assess patient needs and adapt care plans accordingly

Proficiency in handling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Preferred Education & Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution

Proven track record in Med Surg / Tele nursing with at least 3 years of relevant experience

Experience working in a hospital setting with a focus on patient assessment, care planning, and execution

Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and diagnostic tools

Additional Details :

Up to 16 hours of orientation may be unpaid
