What You’ll Do
As a Field Service Technician , you will play a mission-critical role in keeping our customers up and running! You’ll use your technical expertise, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair equipment to bring positive results for customers while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work alone or as a team to service and maintain various types of rotating equipment typically found in the water and wastewater industry. Frequently working under tight deadlines in the field and / or service center.
- Assist in planning, installation, repair and troubleshooting of new or modified installations for mechanical and or electrical systems.
- Utilize technical repair reports to accurately document all aspects of the repair estimate, repair and failure diagnosis, including part numbers, part descriptions, estimated labor hours, actual labor hours, and documentation of work performed to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work as an "Emergency Responder" on a rotation as necessary. Must be able to travel on short notice and work outside of normal business hours when necessary.
- Uphold all safety practices and procedures as detailed in the company safety manuals.
- Continuous learning of products, applications, technology, market conditions and competitive advantages.

Required :
High school diploma or GEDDesire and ability to work in a fast-paced and continuously changing fieldAbility to work overtime on short noticeHigh level communication and organization skills, as well as a positive attitude towards customer serviceSolid basic computer knowledgeWorks well independently or with a teamAbility to manually lift and maneuver heavy objects, parts, equipment, and materialsAbility to work under little supervisionCustomer-first attitudeAbility to work outdoors under extreme weather conditionsAdaptable and comfortable with changing environments and protocols, understanding that other duties might be requiredPreferred :
Degree from a Technical or Vocational school in Mechanics or ElectronicsPrevious experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of submersible pumps or other rotating equipment generally found in water and wastewater facilitiesPrevious experience in the installation and repair of piping systemsAbility to learn and troubleshoot electrical control systemsWhy Work With Us?
