Job description

General Shale Brick is the legacy brand of General Shale established in 1928. Following today’s announcement, the brand will be available through nine production sites and 17 distribution centers across North America. The brand includes industry-renowned products including many popular colors and textures, which continue to be in high-demand for unique residential and commercial projects.

General Shale is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for our Wilmington, NC facility. The successful candidate must acquire an in-depth knowledge of General Shale products and interact professionally with customers in a fast-paced sales environment.

Responsibilities will include :

Inside sales
Invoicing
Answering the phone
Data entry in SAP computer system
Cash sales

Job Requirements :

2-5 years customer service experience; inside sales experience

Must be a self-starter who possesses excellent PC skills; knowledge of SAP a plus

Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal communications

Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Marketing, or related curriculum
