High School English Teacher

Position Overview : We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified High School English Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The successful candidate will have a strong background in English education, a commitment to collegiality while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment, and a desire to contribute to the overall academic success of our students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective daily lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards along with district and school wide pacing, scope and sequence.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes student participation and critical thinking.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and assess their progress through various evaluation methods.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
• Participate in district and school events including but not limited to : report card conferences, professional development opportunities, staff meetings and Induction / Mentorship Program including New Professional Staff Orientation (beginning prior to start of school year).
