Job Description

Charlotte custom crating facility hiring for a Carpenter to build shipping crates Full time temporary to permanent positions. The 1st shift is 7am-3pm and 2nd shift 3pm-11pm available. $19.00hr.

Carpenter Responsibilities :

  • Perform a variety of construction and carpentry-related tasks, including but not limited to carrying materials, using tools and machinery, and assisting skilled trades people as needed.
  • Read and follow blueprints, plans, and instructions from supervisors.
  • Build custom wood crates per plans.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.

Carpenter Requirements :

  • Must be able to read a tape measure and convert decimal measurements to fractions.
  • Previous construction and carpentry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Familiarity with construction and carpentry tools and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
