Job Description- Lead Teacher

Hillel Preschool is currently seeking a caring and creative Lead Teacher for our preschool program.  Monday to Friday 8 : 30AM to 4 : 00PM .

This is a contracted position with paid leave days and vacation days. Opportunities for receiving a renewed contract for next school year and summer camp hours also a possibility.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Implementing curriculum and planning daily activities that are developmentally appropriate for the age group.
• Developing a schedule for the children to maintain throughout the day.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of each child by responding to their emotional, social, and physical needs as well as their educational needs.
• Maintain classroom and play area in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
• Be willing to familiarize yourself and meet all state licensing, NAEYC standards, sanitation regulations and school philosophies.
• Keeping records of each child’s progress, interests and anything else that may arise.
• Maintaining contact with the children’s parents as needed through verbal communication, communication app
