Job Description- Lead Teacher
Hillel Preschool is currently seeking a caring and creative Lead Teacher for our preschool program. Monday to Friday 8 : 30AM to 4 : 00PM .

This is a contracted position with paid leave days and vacation days. Opportunities for receiving a renewed contract for next school year and summer camp hours also a possibility.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Implementing curriculum and planning daily activities that are developmentally appropriate for the age group.
- Developing a schedule for the children to maintain throughout the day.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of each child by responding to their emotional, social, and physical needs as well as their educational needs.
- Maintain classroom and play area in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
- Be willing to familiarize yourself and meet all state licensing, NAEYC standards, sanitation regulations and school philosophies.
- Keeping records of each child’s progress, interests and anything else that may arise.
- Maintaining contact with the children’s parents as needed through verbal communication, communication app
Qualifications : Candidates must pass required state background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements :
Education : Have obtained or currently working on an AAS degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field and at least 18 years oldExperience : At least one verifiable year of working in an early childhood education preschool or center requiredNC Early Childhood Teaching Credential requiredCoursework in early childhood education or child development preferredCPR / First Aid preferredPersonal characteristics :
