We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who thrives on innovation, continuous improvement, and process optimization. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and refinement of manufacturing processes that ensure high-quality, cost-effective production from concept to launch. You will also play a key role in updating and enhancing existing products and systems to drive operational excellence.
What You'll Do
Lead Process Development : Drive manufacturability assessments of new designs, guiding them from concept through to first production runs.
Optimize Production : Design and implement efficient, scalable manufacturing methods, tooling, fixtures, and plant layouts.
Drive Improvements : Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across production processes.
Support Quality & Compliance : Collaborate on product testing standards, quality assurance procedures, and final inspection protocols.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Partner with engineering, purchasing, and leadership teams on procurement, scheduling, and product lifecycle changes.
Report & Recommend : Generate data-driven reports and present recommendations to senior management on key projects and productivity metrics.
Mentor & Guide : Provide technical leadership to teams supporting manufacturing operations and project execution.
What You Bring
Education : Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Process, or Mechanical Engineering preferred; Associate degree with strong experience considered.
Experience : 310 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering roles.
Process Knowledge : Strong background in BOMs, routings, time / motion studies, and standard setting.
Systems Expertise : Proficiency with MRP / ERP systems and production planning tools.
Quality Focus : Experience implementing QA programs and using precision instruments for calibration and sampling.
Continuous Improvement Mindset : Proven success with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies.
