As we expand our sushi catering department, we are looking for a passionate and skilled Catering Chef who can elevate our offerings while also contributing to our other catering accounts.

Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated Catering Chef with strong sushi-making skills to join our innovative culinary team. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing our sushi catering services while assisting with our diverse range of non-sushi menu items. If you have a creative flair, a passion for food, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare high-quality sushi and sushi-related dishes, ensuring excellent presentation and taste.

Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and innovate new sushi recipes and catering options.

  • Assist in preparing a variety of non-sushi menu items for various catering events.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, including the proper storage of food items.
  • Participate in menu planning and execution for events, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Contribute to the overall success of catering events by providing excellent food quality and service.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients as needed.

    Pay $22 - $25 an Hour Plus Tips

    Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a cook with strong sushi-making skills in a catering or restaurant setting.
  • Knowledge of various sushi styles, ingredients, and sushi-making techniques.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently, managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality food.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
