Must-Have :

Must have completed 1-2 contracts in mammography.

Must have experience with screening and diagnostic mammography.

Description :

The mammography department is equipped with multiple scanners for screening and diagnostic imaging.

Screening services include standard mammograms, implant patient studies, and special needs accommodations.

Diagnostic imaging consists of breast scans and potential procedures.

On average, 14 diagnostic scans are performed each day with a scheduled interval of every 30 minutes.

Screening typically accommodates 18-25 patients during a 10-hour shift.

The department utilizes EMR for documentation.

The imaging equipment includes Hologic systems for both screening and diagnostic procedures.

Adequate time is allocated for new patients and implant cases.

A lead technician is available but may not be on-site at all times.

Radiology assistants are not employed in this department.

Radiologist reviews and reports images at a later time after batch processing.

No intravenous access is required in this role.

Weekend and holiday commitments are not required.

Scrubs can be any color as long as they are clean and professional.

Additional department-specific orientation will be provided.
