Salary :

RCP 1 - Wages start at $36.79 an hour and the midpoint is $45.99 an hour. Increases are based years of experience in the field. Plus, you will earn extra shift differentials for swing, night, and weekend hours :

• $1.73 extra for working between 3 : 00pm - 11 : 00pm
• $3.50 extra for working between 11 : 01pm and 7 : 00am
• $1.54 extra for working weekends

RCP 2 - Wages start at $39.91 an hour and the midpoint is $49.90 an hour. Increases are based years of experience in the field. Plus, you will earn extra shift differentials for swing, night, and weekend hours :

Position Summary / Qualifications for the Respiratory Care Practitioner 1 :

Respiratory Care Practitioners interview examine and care for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders using their knowledge of scientific principles underlying cardiopulmonary physiology and pathophysiology with their knowledge of biomedical engineering and technology to assess, educate and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.

Position Summary / Qualifications for the Respiratory Care Practitioner 2 :

The Respiratory Care Practitioner 2 at Asante is an Advanced Respiratory Care Practitioner that has acquired additional credentialing and competencies as outlined in the Respiratory Critical Care Orientation, Respiratory Care Services Competency Evaluation and Respiratory Care Services' Career Ladder, in one or more of the following : Adult Critical Care, Pediatric Care, Neonatal Care, Pulmonary Function Technology, Team leadership. The RCP-2 may enable the practitioner to perform respiratory care duties in the adult intensive care units, attend to patients in the ER and / or provide pediatric floor care if applicable. Responsibilities may also include management of blood gas labs, as assigned for specific job roles.
