Academic Hospitalist

Position Overview

The Division of Hospital Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time, non‑tenure‑eligible Academic Hospitalist on the Clinician‑Educator track at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor.

Responsibilities

• Rotate on teaching and attending directed non‑teaching service with support from experienced NPs and PAs.
• Provide day and night hospitalist service.
• Engage medical students and residents in education.
• Participate in quality improvement projects, clinical research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and other scholarly activities.

Start date is negotiable; the position remains open until filled.

Compensation

Base salary range : $255,000 – $280,000 per year.
