This is a hybrid role with requirement to be on-site 2 days a week and offers flexibility to work remotely.
What will you contribute?
Reporting to the Director, FP&A, the Senior Manager, FP&A will have broad responsibilities within the FP&A organization, including planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting. In addition, they will also provide support to the Director and Head of FP&A on any other special projects and / or day-to-day activities as required.
Responsibilities & Deliverables :
Your deliverables as Senior Manager, FP&A will include, but are not limited to, the following :
Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes
Lead planning and forecasting process, interfacing with 20+ stakeholders
Manage the long-range planning processes for corporate finance including supported business partners, working cross-functionally to support financial targets
Develop real-time views of financial performance and associated variance analysis to compare against plans
Analyze financial data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing actionable insights to senior management
Conduct deep dives into various metrics and business drivers (revenue, people costs, non-people costs)
Prepare and present clear, concise, and insightful financial reports and presentations for the Executive Leadership Team, synthesizing business performance and communicating risks / opportunities clearly
Collaborate with other departments to build integrated reporting
Champion continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting
Instill financial rigor, operational discipline and accountability across the business units
Required Experience :
4-year degree in business, finance, or accounting
5 - 7 years of experience in a FP&A, finance and / or financial modeling with at least 2 years of experience in FP&A; preferably in a Corporate level FP&A role
Experience across various Finance areas including corporate finance and finance business partnering; previous private equity portfolio company experience a plus
Deep understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling techniques, including managing inputs from various sources and stakeholders
Expert Financial modeling skills, with ability to effectively communicate drivers, insights, and recommendations to executives
Experience in a software / SaaS / recurring revenue environment
Familiarity with FP&A tools (IBM Cognos TM1, Anaplan,
etc.) and ability to leverage systems to simplify FP&A processes
Creative problem solver with ability to provide clarity to senior leadership; experience in creating ELT / C-Suite level presentations
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills required; ability to effectively communicate with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Comfortable with ambiguity and a rapidly changing environment
Self-starter with a proactive, collaborative mindset
