About The Position

• Must have Ortho Experience
• The Certified Scrub Tech assists with all ortho surgical procedures as well as endoscopy and general surgery . SHIFT : M-F - Days. Surgical facility is closed on weekends, with potential call. Typically call and holidays are not required but there is a very slight chance that could be needed. LOCATION : Granby, CO Beautiful area in the High Rockies1.5 hours from Denver in the mountain ski resort area of Grand County, Colorado in the town of Granby, 80446. We are in a rural location and the candidate must be willing to relocate and embrace the lifestyle. 8000 ft altitude, sunshine blue skies with 300 inches of snow per year in parts of the county (thus ski areas) , closest airport and big box / mass merchants are 1.5 hrs away. Housing rental and real estate market is challenging as it is in a resort area. Multiple VRBO and AirBnB opptys available.

We have 2 active ORs located in our Granby, CO campus. Description : Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and are characterized by duties requiring a detailed knowledge of surgical instruments and prescribed procedures to provide Surgeons the appropriate sterile surgical instruments and supplies throughout the course of surgery. Must have total joints and ortho experience. Such duties are performed under the close supervision of Registered Nurses and Physicians who are immediately available to provide direction and control. These positions also set up and strip down the operating room prior to and after surgery under the guidance of a Circulating Nurse and may act as a Circulating Nurse. Requirements : 2 years ortho experience required. Spinal experience preferred. Current Colorado State Surgical Technologist License eligibility required. Knowledge of PAR lists and supply requisitions. Current CPR / BLS certification or within 60 days from hire. Compensation : $26.52 $42.42 / hr DOE. $10,000 sign-on bonus for perm full-time and for Perm / FT, $350 / mo Housing Stipend Available for residents of Grand, Jackson and Summit Counties
