Description

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install troubleshoot repair and maintain production and facility equipment following proper safety procedures and standard industry practices.

Essential Functions

• Perform diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and equipment.
• Perform emergency / unscheduled repairs of equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance of equipment.
• Perform mechanical skills including but not limited to mechanical electrical pneumatic hydraulic troubleshooting and repair throughout the entire facility
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines equipment and plant facilities
• Use a variety of hand and power tools electric meters and material handling equipment
• Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules LOTO Confined Space Fall Protection Hazard Communications etc.
• Work full time Monday through Friday with frequent Saturday work
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
• Contribute to company morale and group commitment to goals
• Other duties as assigned by Supervision

Qualifications

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of proper use installation repair and maintenance of equipment used in concrete production work.

Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely

Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.

Ability to lift push pull or carry objects

Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly 40 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally

Ability to work in adverse weather conditions including heat and cold

Ability to walk on uneven surfaces climb ladders and work on platforms and in high places

Requires good manual dexterity (hand hand with arm two hands) and multi-limb coordination.

Ability to understand follow and transmit written and oral instructions

Excellent attendance

Ability to comply with all company policies procedures and safety requirements

Education Training and Experience

Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.

Work Context

Regularly works near moving objects and in climate conditions that include inclement weather heat and humidity and exposure to dust and concrete

Noise levels vary within facility. Hearing protection may be required in loud areas

Occasionally required to wear fall protection equipment and / or half mask respirator

Safety / Steel toe boots hardhat and safety glasses required
