Location :   Walford, IA

Pay : $19 / hour

Shifts : 1st shift, M-F, 7 : 00am to 3 : 30pm

Advance Services is looking to recruit Forklift Operators to work for a local, family-owned, and operated 3PL company located in the heart of the Midwest.

Duties / Responsibilities :

Unloads inbound shipments, verifying merchandise matches shipping documents. Moves merchandise to storage properly documenting put away locations and reporting any shipment discrepancies.

Picks orders and prepares for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of product is ready for shipment. Properly load shipments.

Perform minor maintenance to forklifts that can be accomplished with the tools available, and ability of employee.

Requirements :

High school diploma or GED

Prior experience driving a forklift and / or prior exposure to a warehouse environment preferred.

Attention to detail and accuracy is required as it pertains to inventory transactions and insuring inventory accuracy.

Must be able to do basic math computation of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Basic PC skills.

Must be able to stoop, walk and bend and be able to lift consistently a minimum of 50 and maximum of 60 pounds.
