Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,434 per week in Fargo, ND

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : RN Specialty : Medical Surgical Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour Day / Night Rotate Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : 2 years License : Required Certifications : BLS (AHA) Must-Have : 2 years previous Medical Surgical experience. Level 1 trauma experience. EPIC experience. BLS certification from AHA. Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment. Description : This unit is a new medical / surgical unit that operates in a fast-paced environment. It features a 15-bed capacity with all private rooms. The unit cares for patients who are ready to be discharged from the emergency department but have not yet been assigned to a specific unit. Nurses perform initial admissions and provide care for patients until they transition to their new unit. Equipment utilized in the unit includes Epic, Zebra phones for communication, Omnicell for medications, and Aleris IV pumps. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 5 : 1 during the day shifts and 6 : 1 during the night shifts. Nurses may be required to float to other medical / surgical units as needed. The dress code consists of navy blue scrubs. No on-call shifts are required. The cancellation policy allows for up to 12 hours of call-off time without penalty during the period.
