Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist experienced in both CT and X-ray modalities with current ARRT certifications and at least 2 years of recent clinical experience.

Responsibilities

Work within a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital on the CT Tech unit

Multi-modality role including CT and X-ray imaging

Night shift position working 3x12s, 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM, with every 3rd weekend required

May float to similar units as needed within clinical scope

Patient populations include emergency, trauma, pediatric, and orthopedic cases

Uses Siemens equipment and Epic EMR; experience with both highly preferred

PACS system is utilized for imaging workflow

Provide high-quality imaging and patient care across CT and X-ray modalities

Explain procedures and ensure patient understanding and preparation for exams

Work collaboratively within a large team in a Magnet-designated environment

Must adhere to specific scrub attire : teal blue top and black bottoms

Parking available for a one-time $20 fee for nights and weekends

Must be available for emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)

All requested time off must be declared at submission; no additional RTO after acceptance

Online modules must be completed pre-start

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in both CT and X-ray required

Registered in both Radiography (ARRT) (R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT) (CT)

SCRQSA, BLS, and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)

Experience with emergency, trauma, pediatric, and orthopedic exams highly preferred

Familiarity with Siemens equipment and Epic EMR highly preferred

Radiation badge must be provided by the agency

Travelers must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay; locals considered at local rate

First-time travelers will not be considered

Proof of SSN and valid driver's license required for consideration

Previous employees must have a one-year separation from previous employment at the facility

License required if applicable
