Salary : $52, $87, in 10 Steps

Candidates must meet all requirements for state certification as a School Psychologist.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Evaluation of students for special education services.
• Administration of psychological tests, including but not limited to intelligence, achievement, personality and perceptual-motor instruments.
• Production of written reports summarizing the results of evaluations and subsequent recommendations.
• Interpretation of diagnostic data to parents, students, and professionals.
• Involvement in individual educational planning teams, making recommendations regarding programs, curriculum, behavior management, and teaching strategies for students.
• Involvement in pre-referral study teams, recommending effective educational and behavioral interventions to promote student success in regular classroom programs.
• Consultation and collaboration with students, administrators, school personnel and others in the area of mental health and education.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education.
