Job description

About the Role

Our client is looking for a Founding Frontend Engineer to join their team and help build delightful and performant user experiences. The ideal candidate will play a key role implementing, testing, scaling, and maintaining our frontend applications.

The stack is primarily React + TypeScript , with shadcn (Radix) and Tailwind . They care deeply about clean, intuitive interfaces that make complex workflows simple for our users.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Santa Clara, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create elegant and clear user interfaces / experiences in accordance with design specifications
  • Build and own new features to meet product requirements, ship fast, and rapidly iterate based on feedback
  • Test thoroughly, cover edge cases, identify bugs, and resolve issues in order to ensure high quality, performant software
  • Collaborate, communicate, and align with Design, Backend, and Product

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3-5+ years of professional experience building modern frontend applications
  • Keen attention to detail, clear communication, and strong problem solving skills
  • Expertise in React & TypeScript
  • Deep understanding of the fundamentals : HTML, CSS, JS
  • Deep understanding of working with design systems
  • Solid grasp of practical tools in the React ecosystem such as component libraries, frameworks, TanStack, etc.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • The ability to work in fast-paced start up environments, appropriately balancing speed and robustness within scope
  • Experience building large-scale production applications for Enterprise
  • An understanding of architectural design patterns and tradeoffs
  • Familiarity with tools in our backend stack, which is primarily Python, FastAPI, AWS
  • Interest in and / or familiarity with Agentic AI and Security
