salary : $50,000 - $70,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment according to established schedules and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to identify root causes of breakdowns.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, and equipment using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to understand equipment operation, assembly, and repair procedures.
• Execute emergency repairs quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime and production losses.
• Install new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper alignment, leveling, and connection to utilities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent.
• Operate a variety of shop equipment such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and welding equipment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including Lockout / Tagout procedures.
• Communicate effectively with production staff, supervisors, and other maintenance personnel regarding equipment status and repair progress.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of spare parts and tools.
• Perform basic plumbing and electrical work as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to equipment reliability and maintenance processes.
