Nights with 8 and 12-hour shifts, every third weekend rotation, holiday rotation.
Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift

Unit Overview :
Be part of our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit , where you will care for a complex patient population including :
Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients within our Comprehensive Stroke Program .A high volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients and medical overflow cases.At the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) , you will be exposed to the latest neurosurgical techniques and care methods.

Deliver and coordinate comprehensive, evidence-based patient care using the nursing process.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and therapeutic patient care.Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking for optimal patient outcomes.Contribute to positive patient experiences across the care continuum.Why Join Us?

Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).Education Required :
Completion of an accredited or approved Nursing program.Experience Required :
Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :
Ability to provide holistic patient care with a family-focused approach.Confidence in handling unplanned clinical situations effectively.Proficient in computer skills, including electronic medical record systems.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated skills in coordination, delegation, and team building.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach, and twist throughout the workday.Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and carrying loads up to 40 lbs.May be exposed to hazardous materials and bodily fluids; protective gear is required.Must possess functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch for patient care procedures.This job description offers a general overview of the expected work nature and level.
