Key Position Details :

The Allina Health Neuroscience, Spine, and Pain Institute is seeking a Neurologist specializing in Neuromuscular conditions to join our practice at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

Provide Neurological clinical oversight of the Neuromuscular center of Excellence

Treat and manage patients with Neuromuscular disorders

Primary practice location Abbott Northwestern Hospital, with potential for additional outreach locations as necessary

Opportunity to participate in research with a fully supportive and collaborative administrative and research teams

EMG team will eventually include 5 PM&R EMG physicians, 2 Neuromuscular-EMG Neurologists, 3 EMG techs, and 1 provider coordinator

Potential for after hours and weekend call coverage- phone based within a pool of providers to be determined

H-1B and J-1 visa candidates will be considered

Principle Responsibilities

Works collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.

Job Requirements

MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required

BE / BC with ABMS or AOA required

Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)

Ability to obtain and / or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)

Ability to meet criteria / qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable

Pay Range

Pay Range : $320,000 to $361,000 per year The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
