RN - Tele / stepdown

General job duties. Types of procedures required.

Cardiac Monitoring, Anti arrhythmia infusions. Post op Open heart surgery, throacotomy, AMI / Stemi.

Equipment utilized in the unit / dept.

Computerized charting, scanning of medications, telemetry

Required skills and minimum years of experience.

Min 2 years recent Tele experience. Cardiac Monitoring experience.

Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)

Active BLS, NIHSS and ACLS - must be American Heart Assoc. Active MD or compact state RN license.

Shift or schedule requirements. )

12 hour shifts, every other weekend. No call. Holidays. Never alone.

Floating to over units / departments.

Only possible pull would be to medical surgical area.

Bed size / number of rooms for this unit / dept.

30 bed unit

Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.

1 : 4-6

Dress Code : Navy Blue Scrubs
