Job Description & Requirements

• Duration : 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• Shift : 8 hours, evenings
• Employment Type : Local Contract
• Interview Format : 30-minute MS Teams interview
• Responsibilities : Responsible for grossing surgical specimens, biopsies, complex cases, performing assessments, and submitting specimens to Surgical Pathology.
• Minimum Experience : 5 years
• Education : Bachelor of Science
• Required Certification / Experience : Completion of a NAACLS-accredited Pathologist’s Assistant program or previous certification by the American
• Association of Pathologist’s Assistants (AAPA).
• Preferred Certification : PA (ASCP)
