Job descriptionPractice setting : Mostly outpatient clinic, occasional inpatient and ER consults, as well as outside provider calls Schedule : Weekday 8-5 pm including occasional inpatient consults Call Schedule : calls (other than inpatient consults from 8-5pm) 24 / 7 but calls come rarely and provider does not need to come in to the hospital Call Ratio : depending on the week, roughly 1-2 calls a weeks Average number of patients a day : around 6 outpatient visits (plus occasional inpatient consults with assistance from genetic counselor) Inhouse genetics lab Documentation System : EPIC Scope of practice : Peds and Neonates
