Dietary Cook swing shift 6 am to 2 pm and 11 am to 7 pm

Past experience working in a hospital, rehab or long term care facility would be needed. The primary purpose of this job is to perform all aspects of the day-to-day food preparation activities of the Dietary Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator and / or the Food Service Supervisor, to assure that all meals and snacks are prepared and served in a timely and appetizing manner to the residents and staff.

• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the preparation of foods, liquids, and dietary methods.
• Must be familiar with seasoning, cooking time required, and characteristics of various cuts of meat, poultry, fish, grains, fruits, and vegetables.
• Must have food service and sanitation license and / or certification
• Must be able to lift up to 50-pounds.
