Recruitment And Onboarding
Oversee end-to-end hiring processes for staff and interns, including job postings, interview coordination, Workday transactions, and participation in hiring committees. Provide guidance to managers on best practices for recruitment and onboarding / offboarding.
Payroll And Timekeeping
Serve as department timekeeper, ensuring payroll accuracy and timely submission of personnel transactions.
Performance Management
Support managers in setting performance expectations, coaching staff, developing improvement plans, and navigating disciplinary actions when necessary.
Compliance And Records Management
Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records in accordance with university policies. Act as liaison to the College of Natural Sciences Dean's Office and other central offices to ensure adherence to institutional policies.
Culture And Engagement
Contribute to initiatives that strengthen organizational culture, encourage collaboration, and enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. Other related functions as assigned.
