Responsibilities

  • Manage federal and state compliance reporting processes for clients.
  • Prepare accurate and timely tax returns for individuals and entities.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and oversee client bookkeeping tasks.
  • Handle payroll and account reconciliations with attention to detail.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict file management protocols.
  • Regularly utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Work with QuickBooks and CCH Software to streamline tax and bookkeeping tasks.
  • Maintain a full schedule of client engagements and project deliverables.
  • Input data, schedule required tasks, and verify accuracy to ensure compliance.

    • Requirements

  • BS in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ YOE in public accounting, professional services, or a related advisory firm
  • Experience and interest in client management skills
  • Experience with a public accounting firm a plus
  • MBA and / or CPA is highly preferred
  • Regularly use QuickBooks with proficiency
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and CCH Software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to engage directly with clients.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain a client-focused mindset
  • Proficiency with or the ability to learn tax accounting and preparation software.
  • Knowledge of GAAP
